how to style your apartment

Moving sucks. Period.

If you're like me you scanned Pinterest every evening before your move to find the perfect 'inspo' for your new apartment yet FAILED in recreating that vision.

It's frustrating that the most gorgeous Pinterest apartments likely cost more than our annual salaries. Finally moving into my own place, I tried hard to recreate my 'dream' aesthetics in a more reasonable and affordable manner.

I'm pretty happy with my apartment; it makes me happy to walk in every night so I'd say I succeeded in my goal. I was lucky to stumble across some amazing products and brands during my decorating phase and was also lucky to be approached by brands for partnership that I never would have found on my own.

Going to keep this post short and sweet, so read on for some of my favorite pieces in my new apartment.

Not necessarily 'cheap' but BREATHTAKING is my art from artsugar. Artsugar donates a percentage of sales to charity and features many unique and talented artists from around the world. I created my own influencer collection with them so you can shop my favorite pieces! There is nothing like this macaroon art from artist Anya Panchenko.

I'm extremely obsessed with amped & co. and have TWO of their neon desk lamps. In my opinion, these lamps are the cutest and smallest way to jazz things up and elevate your space.

My gold pineapple cup was from home goods and was under $15! I use my pineapple to store loose change, receipts and other pocket clutter. While I couldn't find this exact one online, I found a similar one here.

I have a thing for pineapples, if you couldn't tell. I saw this pineapple lamp at target and lost my sh*t. It is so cute and bohemian. It matches any decor style and is a talking point. I linked it here.
